Friday film question: what's a tiny little detail from a movie, or trend in movies, that bugs the hell out of you? Not anything major, just specific.

For me I hate it when there's bad Photoshop, like with a character's family photo etc. There really is no excuse, especially in a big multi-million dollar Hollywood film.

Ooh, just thought of another one: characters leaving the little keyboard clicking noise on when they're texting, just in case we're stupid enough not to see that they're texting. NO ONE KEEPS THAT NOISE ON.

Wow, overwhelming response to this, thanks! Great discussion and suggestions. By far the most common are clearly empty cups and not saying goodbye at the end of phone conversations. Glad I'm not the only one irked by the little off details 😜

Here's another: the big bad guy in an action movie having lots of random, disposable henchman who can be killed easily by the hero. But he always has one really amazing right hand man who gives the hero a challenge. Why doesn't the villain have lots of those amazing fighters?

That women don't sigh with relief when they take off heels at the end of the day.

Always bothers me when an English language movie cuts to another country, and all the locals are talking to each other in English. It’ll be like ‘here are all the baddies on their military base in Russia, talking about their plans in English’

Definitely when characters are driving and don’t look at the road! Even if they don’t crash it annoys me so much, dont directors/editors notice these things? 😂

It stresses me out so much. I always think they’re setting up a crash that’s going to be a big twist/plot point.
