Good work by @sfpd in the face of a dangerous situation. These are exactly the kinds of serious cases we want police to focus their time and energy on. Best wishes to the Sgt. for healing fast. We have filed charges and are seeking detention.https://www.sfexaminer.com/news/sf-police-sergeant-stabbed-in-face-during-haight-ashbury-arrest/ …

It’s not unintentional. He’s sick. He just said that cops getting stabbed in the face are “the exact cases he wants them working on”. .... also likely an individual that’s got long history w/ SF criminal justice system. could’ve been behind bars instead of stabbing cops in face

We both know that’s not what he said. These officers were responding to an assault. Boudin is saying these kinds of violent crimes are the cases we want police officers to focus on. Not low-level, non-violent cases.

I’m fully aware of his political ideology. But this isn’t the first time his semantics have been cryptic.

Nothing about this tweet is cryptic. You just purposely misconstrued what he said.

He uses the pun “in the face” and then says it’s the exact type of case he wants them working on (getting stabbed in the face)... if you think it’s unintentional that’s fine, it’s careless none the less.... don’t pretend he doesn’t abhor law enforcement.
