Sir, a public demonstration that officers are just as subject to the law as civilians would engender a bit more trust. It takes a special kind of person to place him/herself between danger and a stranger, but what about standing between civilians and corrupt officers?

Sir, you are absolutely correct about bad cops mixed in with the good ones, but in my honest opinion, having the GOOD officers publicly punish the BAD ones...I mean handcuffs, back of the squad car would demonstrate that the police force as a whole IS there to protect and serve!

Finally, Sir, I would like to ask a question about Sheriff David Clarke. As a law enforcement agent, what do you think of his views concerning the Black Lives Matter movement, and do you believe, as he does, that they are a terrorist organization equal to the KKK?

Good Article, Black Cops are in the middle, I Believe and have experienced the fact, that we are made expected to pick aside. The only way to combat that is to be true to yourself and the community you serve. Being a supervisor I must make sure i am fair and not bias.
