More than 70% of the US population supports Roe v Wade, which means that more than 70% are opposed to this man's appointment to the Supreme Court.

It goes beyond Roe v Wade. Most Americans are against most Far Right values-- that's why the GOP has to gerrymander in order to stay in power. Their policies are unpopular. Corporations over people and religious "freedoms" over individual rights are not popular views.

Apparently out of order is whatever the chairman says it is. A layperson like me could tell Blumenthal was correct when he read the rule aloud. How many years is it going to take to repair the damage when the smoke clears? This will affect SO MANY areas of life in our country.

All the republican speeches are empty and vague platitudes. All the Democrats have said are concrete, fact-based and have emphasized the lack of transparency of this nomination process. WTF are they hiding!?!?!?

They need to stop this confirmation!! Everyone is talking about abortion and how he feels about indicting a seated prez, but he is also horrific towards people w/disabilities. Horrific! 1 in 5 Americans has a disability, incl all of the kids w/autism. He will ruin their lives!

We'll have to force Congress to write much stronger and tighter laws. Disability insurance levels that put recipients above the poverty level would be a start. Guaranteed universal healthcare would also help.

Democrats should walk out en masse, preventing a quorum and therefore a vote. With the passing of Senator McCain, the Republicans don’t have the numbers right now.

Vote doesn't come til after the hearings. Walking out now denies nothing. In a few days McCain's replacement will be seated. McConnell will re-call a vote then If you want to stop this get off twitter and start calling every senator every day & don't stop til Kavanaugh is out
