@romero why's that guy rocking the tucked look? Figure everyday at id was casual Friday back then. -
@tedtropy : that guy, John Cash, has always dressed like that, even today. He went on to become lead coder of World of Warcraft. Still there -
@romero dress for the job you want, not have. Maybe Blizzard likes things abit more formal. Interesting to see the directions they all took.

@romero@ID_AA_Carmack if you had the hardware of today (but not the software or knowledge) how would that have impacted the initial design? -
@dchote@ID_AA_Carmack : The design of the game was divorced from the tech.Only baseline for design was: Full 3D render, 1.4MB level size. -
@romero@ID_AA_Carmack if u didn't have to worry about size, system memory and had gfx apis at your disposal, but we're still the 1st 3d fps -
@romero@ID_AA_Carmack I'm curious from a reflection standpoint. Obviously software dev drove hardware direction, what it it hadn't?
