Technical question here: If I were to have both versions of SIGIL on my computer, would the files conflict with each other in some way? The reason I'd want both is to play through the game with both soundtracks; to experience it with Buckethead and then with MIDI.

You can use both with no problems! It’s arranged so that you load just SIGIL.WAD for the MIDI version, or both WADs at the same time for the Buckethead music.

If you're getting the error message with SIGIL.WAD then use the COMPAT version. It worked for me and I had the same error message.
