No way, college had computers with Ethernet cards already installed. We turned the physic department’s computer lab into a LAN party every weekend.

This is the greatest thing I've ever seen on Earth!!!!!!! It must adorn my wall. I misspent the better part of my college years playing Quake DM until 3am, only to wake up at 7 and fall asleep in class. It was good.

Literally played doom and quake instead of high school or college, ended up wit a nice technology job after all that and even dabbled in game dev with various companies, quake is cheaper than college if you ask me
