Up to the referendum campaign, Bruges Group Director Robert Oulds was part of Team North (and actually co-wrote Flexcit). He would sit on panels and do interviews espousing the Norway Option. He's like a mini-Owen Paterson that few have heard of but made the same journey.

"So remainers - and, for that matter 'soft' Leavers - have for more than three years had their faces ground into the dirt". True that.

Savage, biting and pointed from , reflecting what Remain Twitter probably wants to say right now.

Indeed. The linked article suggested stepping out to a single market-only position just before your group made that unfashionable.

We are also reminded (perhaps almost inadvertently?) why membership was so controversial. In short, its effect was deep and profound. The claim that the EU only impacted about 15% of laws did not do justice to the situation, which is why Leavers scoffed at the figure.

So that's Huawei and HS2 in the space of 24 hours. And nationalising a railway.

Interesting to see Carswell finally accepting that an SM and CU arrangement on Saturday constitutes Brexit. Alternatively: the man is a charlatan and a moron.

"So there's this thing containing politicians in a set of institutions and it's called the EU, out of which come laws that impact all of us. But it's not a form of government, no siree." And some people wonder why Brexitism exists.

Oh hish, pish and tummy-rot, they've seen this coming for 4.5 years. Everyone knows that. Etcetera. Or something...

Interesting charts on mortgages and positive equity by age, albeit a few years out of date. Source: CML Regulated Mortgage Survey

I particularly 'like' Ticey's comment. He thinks Huawei and HS2 are the defining strategic decisions for Boris Johnson in this parliament. So nothing about Brexit then.

Yep, they're all going for it.

Pete North says it's the fault of Remainers that he is becoming more Brexity...
