    This is a perfect example of how the Democratic party is radicalizing just as badly as what POTUS has done to the GOP. Simply can't stand that two people can be friends despite their differing political beliefs. Such a shame.

    A jackass who successfully drags you to their level will always beat you with experience. Dems have no chance at winning this election if they become an alternate flavor of the same rabble. More importantly, Americans deserve better than rabble v rabble options.

    The worst part is that Pelosi chastised her caucus before hand, demanding that they be on their best behavior and take the high road at all times, lest they do something that will be seen as unseemly to to-be undecided voters. Then she promptly fell at a petty slight.

    In other words, you're meeting his wrongs by punting the constitution yourself. And while you pat yourself on the back in righteous indignation, you can't be bothered to acknowledge that you're serving up a campaign message that will strengthen him come November.

    After much deliberation, I have decided that I will not use my presence at a state ceremony to normalize Trump’s lawless conduct & subversion of the Constitution. None of this is normal, and I will not legitimize it. Consequently, I will not be attending the State of the Union.
