So you think nothing good can come from private currencies competing in a free market? There are a number of advantages such as: more developers working on crypto projects and more people involved that are onboarded by various cryptos, which could ultimately become BCH users.

I think they're detrimental to the most important mission (destroying the status quo of the banks) because they splinter the movement and alienate the pleb.

You will get schisms due to different opinions, points of view, interests and interpretations. That's natural and to be expected. Nothing wrong with that. Religions like Christianity spread just fine across the world even after suffering hundreds of various schisms.

The current set of shitcoins are all about making their creators rich, nothing more. If you look at the market objectively, there are 2 worthy networks only.

That's a very binary way of seeing things. Sure, creators/founders may or may not get rich. They're taking entrepreneurial risk, investing their time and money and trying to compete, which in the end benefits everyone involved because it pushes one to strive harder.
