When is enough enough and we acknowledge the big elephant in the room that cancer is like any other organism that has an abundant fuel source ( Glucose, Fructose ) and until you shut its fuel source off you will not win this battle https://twitter.com/proftimnoakes/status/1002967250519945216 …

Neither @DrJenGunter . I’m pointing out that using an approach to shutting off the replication of cancer cell turn over by shutting off its fuel source is as sound as many accepted protocols

Not really. Brain cells need a small amount but they can work well on ketones and a bit of gluconeogenesis

As a pediatric cancer doc I get so angry when dying kids are denied foods that they like in their last months of life due to their despirate parents listening to this garbage. Have never seen it work - and seen lots of kids just want ice cream before they die who were denied it..

They do the same with patients in assisted living facilies. If the resident will only eat waffles, give her the waffles! Don't starve her to death because she doesn't want to eat the crappy food.

Wow. People get so focused on the -length- of life, they forget -quality- of life. Are there any emotional supports, hospice counsellors or a chaplain whom they can be referred to, to at least -try- to intervene for the sake of the kids' psychological wellbeing?

Only time I made food recs as a hospice nurse was for constipation. Also I guess my son was on the keto diet; he had Stage 4 colon ca, was obstructed for the last three weeks. I'd have given him gallons of Pepsi if he could have kept it down.
