Learnt that one of my clients who was recently refused PIP in her migration from DLA died at the weekend. Fuck you and your zero points DWP.

Utterly fantastic as usual. Amazing that they’ve managed to keep the quality so high. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Listening to about electric car infrastructure, it was said “first we have to have charging points on the main highways, then into the cities”. How about no? No charging points in the city just at park & ride outside the city. A chance to take back cities for people?

Know what else our UK press should agree to do: not print or broadcast any old bullshit squirted out by PM Cummings until it’s been verified, double checked and proven to be factually correct. That’d be a start.

And in other news...I guess so long as we are looking after the old, who vote twice as much as the young, and hate redistribution to other people's kids, we can let this slide and still make America great again...

Now on R4, a programme with business owners talking about the devastating effects Brexit will have on their businesses and the appalling personal consequences already. It was made prior to Oct 31st. Why is this being aired now? So depressing and enraging.

For four years under Tony Blair's government I worked for the Daily Mail. His No10 absolutely hated us - you might say justifiably - and yet we were never banned from any briefing involving civil servants under his government, ever.

Day 3 of Brexit. Pound tumbles. He’s heading us towards an Australian, otherwise known as a no deal Brexit next year. He’s banning the press from Downing Street briefings, press walkout. To all those leave voters who thought they knew better. WE TOLD YOU SO!

Claire O'Neill, sacked by No 10, says "my advice to anybody to whom Boris is making promises - whether its voters, world leaders, ministers, employees or indeed family members - is 'Get it in writing, get a lawyer to look at it and make sure the money is in the bank'."

Are we ever going to get a decision on Boris Johnson helping his mistress Jennifer Arcuri to £120k of taxpayers money or are we all supposed to just forget about that now? See also: Tories bribing Brexit Party candidates. And while I’m at it, RUSSIA REPORT? HELLO?

Priti Patel: “this person has a history of counter-terrorism offences... we will provide greater support for the victims of counter-terrorism” Fuck me, it's even worse than I thought - the Home Secretary does not know the difference between terrorism and counter-terrorism!

Slowly but surely the corruption behind the project will come out, but by then the damage will be done. One can only hope that those responsible will be brought to justice.

Netflix has hit £1b in UK revenues. This should give profit of about £68m & tax liability of £13m. But because the law allows the firm to book profits through its Dutch parent it has paid no UK tax. Govt has had 10 yrs to end this kind of tax avoidance but has done next to zero
