and it kind of kills the fun of what is suppose to be a hobby. I see a common sentiment of 'keeping girls away' from the toxic scene but I wish more people would talk about making it more inviting.
I think people just make it unnecessarily difficult to do that. One step forward, two steps back kinda deal. I've seen the interest girls have in it, but I've also seen the side that just kinda hate the idea of it. All varies on experience, but I definitely see both sides.

Different people are into different things dog it doesn't have to be gendered. If more girls aren't into it it's because dudes make it very difficult for them to just exist in the scene

I don't know I've also seen ruleset from dudes talking about how the best way to play smash is items on, only wairoware, with duckhunt banned. Just kind of wish this competitive thing be could be a gaming preference things and not a gender thing.

Again, it should be, but people make it more complicated and dumber than it should be. It's a game that people should enjoy, simple as that. People, not only one or the other.
