Run off and press z and it should pick up the gyro. The timing is weird, if you do it wrong you'll buffer an air dodge. Also you gotta fast fall before you throw the gyro into the side b. So the inputs are like, C stick gyro down, run off, press z, fast fall, jump, throw, sideb
Gotcha, I'll bookmark this and lab it out tomorrow. Looks really good, though. Could you also perform this if you held shield? To be able to protect or react to any other options they do.

I don’t think so since you don’t have time to drop shield and still grab the gyro and hit them but I didn’t lab that, it might be possible

Just to prepare for other options they'd do. The setup can still work, but if they getup attack, at worst, they take a gyro trade, but you don't get the setup off of it. Just a scenario.
