NC isn’t toxic. But select people in NC are. To elaborate, a lot of the complaints i see people having are either insignificant or can be attributed to a few people.

Maybe you’ve gotten tired of the ironic humor from nc smash twitter, but those are jokes between friends who are OK with that. the real problem is those people spend too much time on twitter (Curtis and I )

“The toxicity is a bad look on our scene” but the toxicity comes from select people. I agree, i would rather just not have it, but i doubt random smasher use ppl like Mossy and Shane to represent our entire scene, just like people don’t use Rango to speak for Georgia’s scene

“NC is cliquey” really just don’t agree with this. NC is a super friendly scene, and i’ve seen many new players integrate just fine. People are going to interact with their friends more and strangers aren’t going to be a priority to everyone. That’s not cliquey.

I can agree to this. JRWI was my first OOS event and you guys were nothing but welcoming. Laughed, trash talked and just hung out with your scene. Shared cookies. I left NC with more friends than I came with. I appreciate that about you guys.
