    This is a terrific episode that chronicles the rise of the alt-right and touches on g*merg*te, Japan, message boards and more. Loved hearing the excellent too!

    "From Anonymous to QAnon" starts with "otakus" in 80s Japan and follows the evolution of "chan" (or imageboard) culture to better understand the birth of the "alt right" & the rise of the QAnon conspiracy theory in the USA. It's available on all podcast platforms (Episode 128).

    Compare with Serena Williams and her 23 Grand Slam singles titles where she had to play every single second and hit every single ball by herself. Different sports, I know, but “athlete” is a very broad term. Serena is more athletic, for sure, and also a more dominant “athlete.”

    While we're here: Thinking that Brady is the most dominant athlete in history is plain ridiculous. Dude plays a highly specialized position, is on the field about half the time, and has literally nothing to do with whether or how often the other team scores.

    Nothing will exceed the happiness I got when I finally bought a double deck cassette player in middle school and started making my own mix tapes, after years and years of making cassettes only at my aunt’s place once in a blue moon. I miss cassettes 🥲

    As someone who finished MM9 without taking a hit: I want people to enjoy the series however they want. I’m a hardcore Classic MM fan, but X overwhelms me, so I play em @ easy. Challenge is all about fun. If you’re not engaged, change the rules and enjoy.

    Just putting this out there, but it's not cool to poo-poo on anyone for playing a Mega Man game (or any game) on a lower difficulty. It's okay if you play on easy or what have you! You do you, you know?
