Since this is all species-level planning — what is the fastest path for getting people to, en masse, embrace species-level empathy above their own or that of their kin? We’re biologically hard-wired to be competitive with most of our species, not collaborative, so makes me wonder

I think betting on humans will not work, can get us to new dark ages... Humans are unfixable, look at cognitive bias chat again, most of it is in genes and too slow to change.
