@domainnamewire - The point here is #sovereignty. If someone builds their video channel on YouTube, they are in a walled garden. If someone builds a video site on a http://Us.Tv , they control their own digital brand and can monetize as they like. I call it a #Yexit.

They get sovereignty on other domains too. By going with this third level domain, they're depending on Verisign *and* Epik. (and Tuvalu if you want to get technical)
