FYI, I was not party to this decision by Gab. I am not an admin and did not advise on the decision to ban this user. It was news to me. I am in favor of a fair appeal process and have suggested it to Gab leadership, e.g. after 30 days with commitment to adhere to ToS.
Post-fact, I have seen some sample posts that I would characterize as being over the line misanthropic. Again, not my decision and not in my authority to appeal. However, happy to talk to him if credible people think that would be helpful.
