After much review and careful consideration, Epik has agreed to accept @getongab as a registrar client. More color on why here: https://epik.com/blog/why-epik-welcomed-gab-com.html … https://twitter.com/getongab/status/1058803413448884225 …

Freedom of speech also means freedom to reject hate speech. That’s gab: a platform that spreads hate and breeds domestic terrorists. You’re like a radio statio with the option not to play one of Hitler’s hate speeches in the 1930s...history on repeat, & you’re on the wrong side.

Only Gab protects hate speech. Besides the moral issues, there's a practical reason why companies reject platforms that promote hate speech: it's bad for business. The next time there's a shooter from Gab, both Gap and Epik are going to get sued out of existence.

What do you make of the shooter who used instagram? Or is your bias only suited to Gab?

It was hypocritical of Gab and Epik to claim to be pro-free speech but complain abt GoDaddy and PayPal exercising their free speech rights to reject Gab’s content.

There is nothing wrong with @godaddy enforcing their ToS, with or without social pressure. However, I do have a big problem with 24 hours notice. I have a further issue with coordinated deplatforming, especially when it there is no #DueProcess that impairs a $300K domain asset.pic.twitter.com/VZIjf2lOSE
