Being asked out eliminates some ambiguity about whether the girl has some level of interest in you. Having a girl accept (unless she is married or in a relationship) is a less reliable signal.

Matches a lot of other gender role parameters: e.g. preference for dad staying at home more etc. Not surprising, but goes against the idea that all negative gender roles are the fault of / upheld by men / the patriarchy.

2 Things: 1) It seems there's a % of men not dating. 2) I'd bet the
#s are similar w/ willingness to initiate sex both in and out of relationships. a. Assuming 2 is correct & correct with lesbians too: This is why lesbian bed death occurs-- no one initiates sex. - Još 1 odgovor
