I was detained for 110 minutes while trying to enter Japan. Immigration took me to a separate room and interrogated me, asking me a bunch of questions about Henoko.

Yes, they asked me many questions about Henoko. I have been to Japan many times before, but this is the first time something like this has happened to me.

Again, I'm so sorry Rob. This shouldn't have happened if our country was in the right state of mind, led by a leadership that respects democratic values, and upholds the principles of our National Constitution that calls for peace and harmony with all of humanity. I'm so sorry.

Isn't there any other way to enter Japan? Of course it takes more time, but maybe it's useful next visit. I think Naha airport won't do such a harassment, so pass the immigration through there. If Fukuoka airport is free from such harrassment about Henoko, it's available.
