All I would say is that people should look at values not individual policies before they vote. Thank you for having me

I am opposed to independence but if it happens I will work to ensure that rural priorities are high on the new agenda

  7. May 29

So there is a real possibility that rural communities will remain just as marginalised as they are now

  8. May 29

I am concerned that if independence is achieved we will see divisions occur and different interests competing

  9. May 29

The independence lobby is made up of a number of competing interests with only this one ideal in common

  10. May 29

I am very worried by the loss of EU structural funds and will fight tooth and nail to ensure we receive other financial support

  11. May 29

I work in community development professionally and in a voluntary capacity so I know how important this type of funding is

And we will also have to look at the issue of compensation for businesses and organisations that lose out over Brexit

  13. May 29

Then we need to look at options like product diversification and identifying new markets

  14. May 29

Firstly we need to establish exactly which parts of our rural economy and which businesses will be most affected

  15. May 29

And we need to make sure that the government communicates the situation clearly to the people as negotiations take place

  16. May 29

We need to make sure the government is aware of the needs and importance to the UK of supporting rural industries

  17. May 29

I'm not sure that we can. The fact is that Brexit is entirely surrounded by uncertainty for everyone in the UK

  18. May 29

I am so proud of our NHS. Let's pay for it properly and make it fit for the 21st century

  19. May 29

It all comes down to proper investment in the right areas, along with integration of our health and care services

And even then we have long standing problems recruiting GPs to rural areas. We need incentives to attract new graduates
