But yet you sent us back to school 2 weeks after the shooting. Did we need the class work then, but not now? The hypocrisy is real! @RobertwRuncie please stop attacking @FLGovScott and using the shooting at MSD for your political gains. Sad!

The entire system of tying school funding & teacher compensation to standardized test scores needs to change. It puts so much pressure on the kids and discourages creativity and free thinking.

This is exactly why we’ve done opt-out for the last few years.

Runcie must resign! Covering up student crimes with a failed policy and program, the results of your failed policies can never happen again.

The kids need to return to their normal everyday lives like they had on Feb 13th ... All of these disruptions (twitter / TV / walkouts / marches / celebs) are NOT helping their psyches heal ... Taking tests IS a part of a normal life ... They need to get back to their routines

After Hurricane Harvey, our students in Texas, suffered much trauma, with the stress of the danger, loss of loved ones, loss of home, displacement, like being in a war. Tests at such times are, indeed, unreasonable.

Does Governor Scott remember his standardized test scores? Probably not because in real life they DO NOT matter. The only people hurt by you not taking them are the testing companies.
