Instead of @TeamYouTube removing checkmarks, they COULD have just added a new type of verification for these high end brands or whatever the heck they are talking about. But that would make too much sense.

I understand why you defend the platform Roberto but every time something like this happens, Youtube is quick to take these half measures ultimately hurting people who aren’t the root of the problem instead of attacking the problem head ON! Clearly the half measures don’t work!

The easier full tilt measure that would solve most of YouTube’s one headaches would be to not offer revenue sharing to creators at all... or move the needle to an absurd place. Nobody wants that.
