    This is a corporate bailout by other means and should be stopped. There are plenty of better companies that should be doing this AND have the experience.

    Man, Creative Cloud's billing setup is such a predatory scam. They don't notify you when a new yearly billing cycle is about to happen, and if you then go to cancel they charge €400 as a cancellation fee. If you wanna turn off auto-renew, Adobe says 'simply cancel your account’

    When are we going to talk about the fact that a) the former VP clearly has Alzheimer’s (someone in my family has it bad, I know the signs), & b) that this is the cream of the crop for the Democrats? For all the talk about Trump and the 25th Amendment, Biden will get it for sure.

    Look at all the developed world govts that weren’t distracted. We’re they prepared? Did they react quickly? I’m not going to answer those questions for you. People need to set aside their biases, think critically, and answer for themselves. I already did. And I won’t forget.

    Congress has WEEKS to prepare for what was coming. Evidence of an issue in China hit *my* Twitter feed in January. They could have passed emergency money, made a stimulus package available to keep everyone home, and started stockpiling PPE. Why didn’t they?

    It would grow the economy by 2.5T by 2025, yet cost at least 3.9T / YEAR. I really wish that people who push this kind of stuff actually whip out a calculator... there is NO math that makes UBI sustainable unless you replace Medicare/Medicaid w/ HSA deposits to buy health care.

    We should definitely be considering Universal Basic Income at this point. And all signs point to it being a boon for the economy — you’ll get more spending, which means more job growth, and more.

    This is just flat out wrong and the Washington Post should be ashamed. If I have spare time, I'll write a short novel about all the ways it's wrong. Reporters continually show their ignorance when they pick a single metric & focus on a single state.
