Because people know I like to eat, I get a lot of questions from folks about restaurant recommendations in Chicago. Well this year, I kept track! Here's a handy list of all the places I ate in Chicago this year. Feel free to reach out any time with questions!

How today has gone. Just Googled “Can salsa burn a hole in your stomach?” (I think it’s no, but I have my doubts.)

Just saw this dog in a coffee shop. This is what having it figured out looks like. This dog and Kliff Kingsbury are the only ones.

"The overarching goal is improving the homegrown talent." #Raiders GM Dave Ziegler's goal is to build the roster through the draft. I sat down with him for 30 minutes to discuss why — and explore several other topics — in an exclusive at the Senior Bowl:

Weird way for me to find out you changed jobs, .

There’s a scout from the WWE here at the Shrine Bowl. I talked with him some and he’s here doing the opposite of the rest of us and scouting to see which players will likely not get drafted. It’s part of WWE’s strategy to find athletes instead of wrestlers in other promotions.

Other than the 1st to New Orleans, this was going to be true with or without Sean Payton. It's a deep hole to climb out of, but it was gonna be a deep hole no matter who the coach is. I'd rather have the coach who's won a bunch of games doing the climbing.

Obviously Payton is improvement, but felt like y'all didn't mention another reason why Saints excelled that will be missing in Denver: draft talent. Late Brees years were anchored by great talent from '16-17 drafts and Denver has no picks in top 60 from either 22 or 23.

After a trip to the vet this morning, my dog and I are now on the same antacid medication. Tough look for both of us.

NFL teams were informed that the 2023 salary cap will be $224.8M, as @TomPelissero & @RapSheet reported. The Bears are projected to have close to $100M in salary cap space, by far most in the NFL. Others flush with cap include the Falcons, Giants and Bengals.

“Tale of two different teams," Lane Johnson said. "We were underdogs in ’17. This year, we have a heavily loaded roster. Expected to do good things.” There were no dog masks this time. This was the expected result. On answering the bell, and uno mas:

That's the "If I don't return this for a TD, we aren't scoring" scoop by Ray-Ray McCloud. Bears fans will recognize that anywhere.

Lou's time at Purdue heavily overlaps with my annual visits there in college. He was working toward the NFL while I was getting like $20 worth of McDonald's at 3 am after a few Green Dragons at Harry's Chocolate Shop. Greatness comes in many forms.

ICYMI. Think this is one of the more unique shows we all do each year in terms of seeing where the league is going.

One of the weirder quirks of the Bengals' offense is how many times Joe Burrow ran a QB sneak on 2nd and 1. They did it 5 times, including twice against the Chiefs. Not sure any other team did it more than once or twice all season. It's confusing every time.
