    Important further observations from on why it was possible for Wiley to shut down(*) Knowledge Unlatched. This is on every potential funder that thought "Nah, someone else will keep it funded". (*) Or "partner with", as they like to call it.

    If you want to know why Knowledge Unlatched could be sold in the first place, it's because it struggled as a not-for-profit to attract investment and its initial founder drew down her entire personal pension savings to fund it. See this interview.
