Glad to see the conversation this has started! to be clear—not saying this is the only iteration of a Cabinet I would get behind. meant to show how powerful this collective effort could be (and how many great candidates Dems had this year). Lots of great alternatives in comments!

Stacey has no experience. Two failed politicians together? That’s smart Joe needs a winning female vp.
-
Joe Biden as a failed politician? I don’t get that one. Senator and Vice-President is now a failure? We need to be careful about how much Trump has brainwashed us all into believing an fictional state of affairs.

I think “campaigning” after an announcement of cabinet appointments is problematic. It is prohibited to provide cabinet posts in exchange for anything of value. Preannouncing, and having them campaign, would appear to be a promise of a cabinet post in exchange for campaign work.

I don’t think so for several reasons: 1) after DOJ doubted whether Russian dirt on Hillary solicited by Don Jr was a “thing of value” this legal space was really limited 2) it’s a campaign platform—no thing of value 3) First Amendment VERY strong for political speech

I feel like there's a really aggressive push to make Abrams happen. It's not working for me.

Yeah, I don’t get that either.

Yes, by all means, let's raid the senate of its Democrats.

3 Senators from Massachusetts, California, and Vermont—however will we keep those seats blue? Yes, Amy is from Minnesota—a risk. But a risk we wouldn’t have to take until AFTER the election of 2020, where we see if any of this would cause an issue in the Senate! Don’t be dramatic
