Lots of people who claim to be experts on oil say this is no issue but they’re not working in the oil industry. This is a big issue, lot of money involved. Millions of people will be unemployed if this guy gets in and the transition won’t be a smooth one at all.

Transitioning away from it at the rate of the Green New deal is not the same as long term plans. There's a big difference. Not to mention the best way is to incenstivize innovation to get there from manufacturers rather than do radical regulations, like CA forcing only electric.
