My son at age 2 was fed pounce cat treats by his twin sisters. One per day. And told that he could become a cat. He believed them. I corrected the girls, and dealt with his pounce addiction. I did not allow him to begin cat transformation.

Mine identifies as Lightning McQueen. Legit thinks he has an engine and his legs are the wheels. Great imagination but I’m definitely not pushing him being a car. Call me crazy!

My 3 yr old nephew demanded to be called “Tina” and dress the part (Jessica Zucha on Barney). 18 months later he identified as Leonardo from the TMNT. Let kids be kids.

My 4 year old today told me he wants brown skin because he wants to be like miles morales (Spider-Man) we had a laugh about it and a minute or two later it was forgotten about. This is how young children are let them be children and stop stealing their innocence

Exactly. They have beautiful crazy imaginations. If we took it seriously all of our kids would be severely disadvantaged.
