    It’s my Dad’s 77th birthday today. The poem below, “Dad’s Not A Football Fan”, relates to the sacrifices he made when I was a kid, taking me up north to watch Aberdeen play. At the last match at Pittodrie we attended together, the Dons won 3-0.....(1/2)

    When we scored, Dad stared blankly ahead. Showed no emotion. I was on my feet clapping, cheering, & turned to him. “Is everything ok, Dad?”. He blinked, looking a little shell-shocked, & replied “Sorry, I forgot we’d changed ends at half-time” 😂🤦🏼 Happy birthday, Dad (2/2)
