I'll be leaving my Twitterbots up, and probably producing some more, and will increasingly be using my own blog (http://bonfiredog.co.uk/bonfog ) for the sorts of things that I have posted on here. There is an RSS feed (/feed I believe).

I have used it less and less over the past few months, and the support, entertainment and information that I've gained from it has been increasingly outweighed by how it is making me feel about myself and the world.

I'm not sure how to do this without sounding self-eulogising, but I'm going to be leaving Twitter this week.

Another example of the death of aesthetic distance.

My social centres are going through all their usual throbbing, but my conscious knowledge is trying to calm them down. It's causing a little bit of sickness, a funny feeling in the back of my throat. If ever there was a case study for neo-phenomenology, this was it.

Not all of them are perfect, but enough of them are that, in combination with the fact that I know they are not real, I am having a genuine physical reaction to them.

Every time you refresh this web page, it shows you a photograph (I think we have to call it that) of a fictional human being, created by generative adversarial algorithms. That sentence is a mundane one for 2019. https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/ 

Such a small, futile victory for an unseasonable February Friday afternoon, but it'll buoy me through right into next week.

So instead of #optionaladj# #noun#, now in Tracery it's #optionaladj##noun#, and the space is instead included in the adjective grammar itself.

The weird spaces in my bot @thelostpubs tweets have been fudging me right off for nearly a month, but blessedly I've now worked out what's causing them. Adjectives are optional, but when they aren't added, the space between the adjective and the noun was being preserved!
