        I'm sure that is not to say that Go is really 100x faster. I'm sure there are tradeoffs on perf and it depends on what you are doing.

        LOL. Java is a dead end, but for languages like Ruby, they sometimes get a slight boost from jRuby using the JVM's JIT. smdh.

        I'd love to see @golang's gc drop under 100ms for "halt the world" from what I've read. I grew up doing ns level coding already.
