a) It's weird that this was written in America because no one says "you're welcome" anyway (they say "mm-hm" if anything which makes me VERY CROSS. b) Ugh why are you making me read things on the internet and c) I've not read it but it's definitely wrong.

To be fair, I usually reply to things like a thanks for holding doors open "it's a pleasure" though. Because it is. It's a pleasure to make someone feel cared for and seen.
