I’ve always worked remote, and this is vastly different. I’m confident you’ll find things easier after isolation is up and we get at least a little taste of normality back

I sure hope so. It's a new experience for me. We moved in on March 9th, a few days before they shut everything down. I came back from baby leave on March 11th. The timing has definitely been a compounding shitshow.

Moving house and a new baby rate high on the life stressors scale. Add social isolation it's no wonder your finding it hard. Try (more?) Exercise, and melatonin?

I've been working remote for about 4 years now, and I'm experiencing similar issues. I think it may have something more to do with the many impending existential crises currently happening, and the major life changes. Plus, never having a moment of true "me" time is a big factor.

Working from home is not for everyone (and that’s okay!). But, you are working from home under quarantine during a global pandemic with a new baby and a new house. That’s totally different. I know people that have worked from home for 10+ years that are struggling right now.

I feel this. I spent about three years on and off doing remote work. I'm not happy to be back to it. Lose sense of time, and lose the ability to socialize with others. Lots of people do well with it, I'm not one of them.
