Having tested more than any country in the world doesn’t mean a god damned thing if it’s still not enough testing to ensure we can track the spread.

It is true, the US has more tests done than any other country: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ But: - lagging in testing per capita testing, by a lot - % of positive tests is high, i.e. we are closer to doing bare minimum testing of sick people

Every metric for the US is higher than anyone else: total cases, deaths, active cases (40% of all actives!), new cases, new deaths. Even our per capita numbers are not good. Thankful to be in Santa Clara https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/dashboard.aspx … , but this could've been all of the US.
