    Not sure I see why not doable. If Plan A is "storm in and shoot them" surely Plan B "siege & wait" is viable.

    Not doable, I know, but if I were law enforcement, I'd be tempted to cut services, set up a perimeter, & wish 'em luck surviving the winter.
