And as much as people on the left "love" Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt, never forget that they brought us proto-Trump (Sarah Palin). That's when the really nasty stuff started happening. There was at least an idea of civility before her. I will never forgive them for that.

You should watch game changer, which goes over what happened with Sarah Palin. Wallace and Schmidt didn’t like Palin, and Wallace ended up not even voting. Originally McCain wanted a Democrat and Lindsey Graham told everyone and ruined it.
