If any of the children stolen from their asylum-seeking parents do end up in the adoption system, anyone involved in the process, any family adopting any of those kids, would be participating in a kidnapping, aiding & abetting a felony. Yes?

That's what I would think but I haven't heard anyone talk about the legality or illegality of stealing kids and selling them (adopting.)

I think that there would have to be specific intent and the appropriate mens rea on the part of the adoptive family or agency. So probably not. If they knew they were snatched by ICE, then accessory after the fact could work.

I would take one of the kids into my home then search for his or her parents to reunite them no matter the cost to do so. Then do it again and again.

I've thought of doing this exact same thing, Lorrie. No matter how much I may bond with a child, unless their entire family is dead, s/he belongs with them, and I'd never stop searching on his/her behalf. Over and over, until they've all been reunited.
