Good for Jalene Schmidt for refusing to participate in a media event that wants to treat “both sides” as equivalent. Just as CNN has done for the last 18 months - always seeking opinion from 2 sides even when they know that one side fabricates facts.

No. There is no "both sides" when it comes to Nazis and white supremacists. There is simply good and evil. Hate cannot ever be good. Unreasonable, across the board, needing no excuse hate cannot ever be excused or accepted.

My experience may be different from other reporters, but I’ve talked with many activists in Charlottesville over the past year and can only remember one time when I was asked to not include or interview white supremacists/white nationalists in my story.
