    Falsely blaming clean energy won’t keep the lights on in Texas. Texas needs to face what really happened and prepare for what’s coming. That means weatherizing the gas supply, increasing energy efficiency and reducing demand.

    One could add on the plus side -- there is an incredible amount of new circular economy, methane-reduction, and climate adaptation technology out there. On the negative side, its not reaching scale nearly fast enough in the US and especially emerging economies where its needed.

    Hey - start rewarding customers who reduce use when electricity is tight. The answer can’t just be to build more gas plants that break down when Texas needs them. Oh, and maybe actually require weatherization!
