If I could have any superpower it would be perfect control of attention.
It takes a lot of effort to consistently focus the laser beam, and doubly so when there’s too much context switching!

I’d have unlimited computing power, which would make attention unnecessary.

I learned from programming languages research that the antidote to context switching is not always attention (long serial computation) but parallelism and delegation.
