I did not know he had died. Shocked. He was a great man. Least his brilliance lives on in the Skeptic community.

Yep. Randi really was one of these magnetic figures that could pull people in. The first time I ever talked to him, he was in a bar at DragonCon in 2009, and we sat with him for about 15 minutes. The biggest thrill was his backing the Burzynski Birthday Bash. LOL

One of my fond memories is of him making fun of my tiny voice in front of a bunch TAM attendees in a restaurant and they all had envious looks on their faces like “wow, she’s so lucky Randi is doing an impression of her! I wish *I* could be roasted by James Randi!”
