February - Black History Month and Women in Horror Month. Three of my horror novels respectively have 2 black male leads and the other has a black female lead and black villainess. Diversity in horror in all spectrums is important to me.

Re: THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF THE APOCALYPSE
This isn't a book about the origin of an apocalyptic event. This book is meant to be ground level, character focused. It's meant to show the confusion, the fear, the bizarre, and ultimately the inevitability of humanity... (1/2)

Fight it. Write progressive shit. Write weird shit. Write shit that leaps off the edge of boundaries into the unknown. Write queer shit, angry shit, shit that celebrates you, in all your glory, head to toe, unapologetic. Write it and watch it coalesce into powerful magic shit.
