    Zoom says it's developing tech to block individual users in China from video calls so it can comply w/ demands from the country's authoritarian govt, & in the same statement claims it "fully supports the open exchange of ideas". Hard to square that one.

    Since calling for a global ceasefire in early April, UK gov has carried out at least 6 separate drone & typhoon air strikes in Iraq, the first such attacks in 7+ months🤔

    And let's not forget what MS did w/ Skype in China. Integrated a secret surveillance list in the software that logged & intercepted people's chats if they mentioned thousands of terms like "Tiananmen" & “Human Rights Watch".

    Interesting to see Microsoft grandstanding on human rights in the US, meanwhile in China it continues to heavily censor Bing & LinkedIn in compliance w/ CCP demands & also recently worked w/ a Chinese military university on using artificial intelligence to analyse people's faces
