the USSR had a constitution that guaranteed all sorts of rights. the UK doesn't have a constitution at all. under which regime are your rights more secure?

the communists could be pushing a code of conduct with completely harmless text. it wouldn't make a difference! they'd still have to be opposed, because it's still a show of power. the *point* is that it's a show of power.

sqlite's code of conduct is "the communists have told us to put a poster on the wall, so we found a nice picture of some monks". projects that have been eaten by commies have the code of conduct of "we're commies lol", no matter what the text of the code says.

the commies aren't even interested in ~*improving the culture*~ of sqlite. it's completely symbolic. there is nothing to their push to make the greengrocer put the poster on the wall that isn't symbolic. sqlite has a three-person dev team and isn't open to outside contributions.

This amygdalet blocked me in July over the fact someone practicing martial arts made a joke about defending against communists the previous July. Subtlety is not his strong suit. Must be PrEP-brain
