My hypothesis for the Woke Capital phenomenon: they have Human Resources departments imposed on them from the outside, which grew so large and powerful they cordycepted the companies, and now use them as zombie-like vehicles to force the same agenda on the whole world
Their marketers just live in bubbles, so insulated from the outside world they don't even know Nike isn't state-owned
