imo we need more XPrize- like competitions for tool generation, or cross-industry hackathons themed around rapid prototyping...
ugh this is one of those tweets that haunts me after I write it... because my tweet implies *someone else* should be doing it, and then you remember no-one is and you realize you have to step up to making it a reality if you wanna see it.

what’s the main advantages of community peer-review over established peer- review in your opinion?

Speed. Community peer-review works great with grants below 100k. Get’s the whole thing finished in 1-2 months instead of 6-12 months. Plus you get to engage the community more which has its own benefits
