    The detention centers are overcrowded, unsanitary and unsafe, especially for children. Detained migrants are denied blankets, beds, soap, as well as adequate food and water. People, including children, are dying in ICE custody due to the conditions and medical neglect.

    Desperate people arrive at our border, seeking asylum, seeking refuge from oppression, poverty, violence, and death. This Administration is imprisoning them in camps, tearing children from parents and other family members, and denying them their legal right to asylum hearings.
